MegaSkills® Mentors Training: Multiple Impact at Minimal Cost.

Based on years of successful, effective implementation, the Mentor Training provides what schools across the nation have been requesting - to involve a greater number of instructors and families in MegaSkills programs quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.

Mentor Trainers receive training to work within schools in their districts to train additional staff in either the MegaSkills Classroom Essentials and/or the MegaSkills Leader Training for Parent Involvement Program.

The MegaSkills Classroom Essentials Program trains classroom teachers and staff in how to teach the MegaSkills directly to students. This instructional program provides a complete MegaSkills curriculum and integrates into the regular work of the classroom in subjects including reading, language, arts, social studies, science and math.

The MegaSkills Leader Training for Parent Involvement provides training in how to conduct a series of workshops for parents. These parent workshops focus on how parents can help and support their children's learning in the home and provides grade-coded home, academic learning activities for parents to do with their children.

The MegaSkills trainings - both the MegaSkills Classroom Essentials Program and the MegaSkills Parent Involvement Program - simultaneously teach character education concepts and provide practice and reinforcement in learning the academics.
